printing his/her first name
holding a pencil correctly
holding and using scissors
sitting quietly for 10-15 minutes
naming the four basic shapes(circle, square, triangle, rectangle) naming the eight basic colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown, and black)
begin recognizing letters of the alphabet
begin recognizing numbers 1-10
saying the alphabet
In order to help your child prepare for Kindergarten, we
have a calendar with practice items for each day. The
activities are not difficult and will take only a few minutes . There are flash cards you can print out to help you with
these activities. We suggest that you get a few additional supplies in
order to complete these activities:
1. box of crayons-eight basic colors
2. box of chalk
3. pair of scissors (fiscar work well)
4. package of pencils
We hope you find these activities fun and helpful.
